Mommy + Me

Return to yoga after 40 days with your baby, too! Gentle strengthening exercises to tone and relax a mother's body after delivery and meditation to calm your mind. This class is for new Moms and their babies up to 6 - 8 months, doing stretches to increase abdominal and back strength and build stamina. Class includes baby play and baby stretches.

Mommy+Me Yoga is offered at the Birth to Three Center; 15 Market Street in downtown Ipswich. There is a parking lot to the rear of the building and a rear entrance for ease of access. Classes are held on Monday afternoons at 2 pm for one hour; $15/drop in rate. Current series will continue on consecutive Monday afternoons excepting holidays. Please contact to register; include name, baby's name and age, snailmail address and telephone number. Registration is limited to 8 registrants on a first come/first served basis.

Mommy+Me Yoga
Mommy + Me Yoga was a natural progression from Prenatal Yoga for me. It was so nice to have my daughter attend a yoga class outside of the womb and see that she enjoys seeing other people, the yoga movements that incorporate her as well as the chanting. As she continues to grow it amazes me how she intuitively does yoga poses. Downward dog is still one of her favorite positions. I look forward to taking other yoga classes with her in the future!
